About Madison:
I’ve wanted to be a therapists for as long as I can remember. It’s always been easy for me to connect with people and that has been one of my greatest strengths, and has brought me the most happiness in my career. I’ve loved utilizing EMDR in helping my clients heal form what happened to them. I believe that you have the answers and know the skills, and it’s my job to help you find that part of you in a collaborative process.
I believe that nobody is broken, and all people can heal. The question “what happened to you? as opposed to “what’s wrong with you?” resonates with me, and influences my practice. Many people believe there’s a different between “big T” and “little t” trauma, but isn’t it all trauma? Our brains don’t care about whether the “t” is capitalized or not, it just knows that we had an adverse experience and it has adapted to keep us safe.

When I’m not wearing my trauma therapist hat, I love to hike, be in the sun, go for walks, and snuggle with my not-so-mini-bernadoodle.
