About Michele:
My yoga journey began 22 years ago while pregnant with my second child. Little did I know that looking for a way to stay in shape would become a lifeline in my life as I learned there was far more benefit to doing yoga than the physical work. It has helped me to heal physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally and learn more about who I am and how to approach life with its unique challenges.
I started my training with YogaFit in 2007. I completed my 200 hour with White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA in 2009. Since then, I have continued my education and learning of how yoga can help the entire mind/body be strong as well as heal. I completed Restorative Yoga training with Judith Hanson Lasater in 2018.

I continue to attend classes and study about the amazing benefits of asana, breath work and energy work through the chakras. I am a certified Reiki Master/Teacher and trained in Biofield Tuning (sound healing).
The most rewarding part of teaching yoga is hearing my students tell me how good they feel after class and how much yoga has helped them heal and live better.
I have one son and a daughter who are the lights of my life. I am married to an amazing man who supports and encourages my learning and growth. I love to move and keep my body healthy and strong. I enjoy trying new adventures and getting outdoors when possible. My two fur babies are now my children as my two kids have flown the nest.
My favorite quote is from B.K.S. Iyengar “Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.”
