Self-Pay Rates for
Individual Counseling

Fully Licensed Clinician (LCSW)

  • $175 First Appointment (60 min)
  • $155 Subsequent Appointment (55-60 min)

Associate Therapist (CSW)

  • $145 First Appointment (60 min)
  • $135 Subsequent Appointment (55-60 min)

Therapist in Training (MSWI)

  • $100 First Appointment (60 min)
  • $90 Subsequent Appointment (55-60 min)

Couples Therapy

  • $175 First Appointment (60-90 min)
  • $155 Subsequent Appointment (55-60 min)

Group Therapy

  • $40per group.  Discounts offered to those who pay group in full

Letters, Reports & Coordination

  • $25 per 15 min.

Court Appearances

  • $150/hr.

Wellness Services Rates

Yoga Class
  • $15 Per class (60 min)
Nervous System Recalibration
  • $50 Per Session (30 min)

Consultation & Coaching Service Rates

$150 for a 60 minute meeting. 

More on Insurance

Rooted Counseling & Wellness does not bill out-of-network insurance carriers.  We are happy to provide a monthly invoice, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.  Out-of-network sessions must be paid in full at the time of service.  Since submitting a claim to your insurance requires a diagnosis, you may also opt to pay out-of-pocket if you do not wish to use your insurance.

We do not accept and we do not bill for any type of Medicaid or Medicare plan.

If you wish to use health insurance, our services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance provider or employee benefit plan. You are encouraged to call your insurance company or employer in advance of receiving services to check your coverage. It is important that you understand what your costs may be for each session.  Some helpful questions you may want to ask include:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits in my plan?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met? If not, what will be my estimated out of pocket expenses?
  • How much will my co-payment be for each session once my deductible is met?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance provider allow?
  • Is an authorization required to receive services?

As a convenience to you, we can bill your insurance company for the services we provide to you. You are financially responsible for charges that are not covered under your insurance plan. All required co-payments, co-insurance and deductible amounts are due at the time of service or when we are notified by your insurance company.  Please note that those with secondary insurance can expect a longer processing time.
